The bebop scale
« on: November 23, 2012, 05:59:18 PM »
After seeing these videos I want learn more about the Bebop scale because it sounds jazzy. And thats what I been trying grasp it into my hands the bebop scale. Because I want to sound like george benson and modern jazz guitar players. But I couldnt understand when was saying the family of 4 that I dont get. But she's the most interesting person Ive heard so far in jazz. I mean just her music knowledge is amazing. I wish someone could explain to me what she was doing because she was hitting nail on head when she was talking about alt. ii-v's. And she was also talk about microscopic bebop line. So with that mind my question is...How do you apply the bebop scale to create fluid lines and where can I get started learning the bebop scale and how does it apply to the major scale mode?
