Cas10a thanx for the chords. I'm not up on the theory, so am I correct in thinking that chords without a bass note the bass note is the root of the chord?Example: CM = C - C E G
Hey cas10a, if you're gonna post symbols, you should think about using the standard chord symbol notation RH/LH. Not that you have to, just to eliminate some confusion (if any should arise).
I just want to make sure I have this correct. According to the chord symbols that were posted this is what I have. It sounds off to me. Again I am trying to grasp theory. Please inform me if something is wrong, my feelings will not be hurt. Thanx in advance.
Adding on to cas10a's post, you can use these chords as well that may give you a sound closer to the CD (if that's what you're aiming for):It's in the key of GIntro & verseGM G B/GM Bm7CM or CM7 C or Cadd9Em7 C/E or Cadd9/EF#/DM D/F#GM G Bm7 C or Cadd9 "When nothing helps" changeAm7 Am7B/GM Bm7CM C or Cadd9 (repeat)you can use this to walk back to the Am7Em7 F#/DMGMChorusGM GF#/DM Bm7/F#Em7 EmCM C or Cadd9repeat
