way to go that's how a team works I had keyboard player that tried everything to mess me up while playing but because I practice she could not lol she ended ip leaving she was the type that wanted the spot light on her all the time and even tried to play the bass line every time that why im glad you play with saints that help each other its all about god glory

Thats the aviom system, that my headphones are plugged into. Its like your own personal 12-track mixer, where you can turn up/down any instrument independently from one another....drums, praise team, organ, guitar, piano, etc.  I've got the output of that split, one line going to my headphones so i can hear, and other line going to the input of my macbook ,recording the sound. I keep messing with it throughout the song just so i can get the perfect mix for these videos. Every song is a little different, so i'm having to do mid-song adjustments quite often....

what do you use to record your audio?

I use iMovie on my macbook to record both video and audio. And i just run a line from the Aviom into the macbook's input jack.....that gives me the clean audio.

T.J. thanks for the advice. I've had this happen to me a couple of times. Same type situation, songs we've played many times but for some reason i could not immediately recall the progression. Like you i stop playing, search my mind, start the finger muscle memory to going and i wait to jump on the train..

Thanks for sharing! If I forget the notes of a song or get amnesia, I'll fill in a couple ghost notes and many times, our MD won't notice!! Play them loud so it doesn't seem that you're dropping out!  LOL!
