Dont allow this website to be a crutch when it comes to learning music. There's no better sensation than learning the music by ear CORRECTLY.

Seems that many methods of learning to play by ear have been presented here.  Many courses that claim to teach playing by ear have been mentioned or recommended here.  If that is what a person wanted to do, they would find help at this site.  Some just want chord charts for songs for various reasons.  I guess you could call that a crutch, but it is certainly a help sometimes.

I think I might already know the proper steps to take to become a good "ear" player, but I would like to hear your method, or the steps that you suggest one must take to learn to play by ear correctly.  Are you suggesting or offering a course?

The steps that I know call for a great deal of listening to music, practice/work. That is, afTer you learn scales and chords.  I think the number of people who  Can just pick up music by ear naturally is very small.
