Gospel synth brass sound?
« on: May 21, 2013, 08:34:55 PM »
Just wondering what instrument (Roland, Yamaha, etc.) or VST or virtual program that can emualte the old school brass section that you hear with almost all gospel music. Like John P. Kee, The Canton Spirituals ("I've Got Jesus" *example*), etc. I know sometimes gospel artists use real brass performers, but in The Canton Spirituals' song I've Got Jesus, like I mentioned, they use some keyboard for the brass. Thank you.

The Canton Spirituals use the Ensoniq TS12. Victor Allen Sr. played the Ensoniq TS12 for the brass on the song "Glad I've Got Jesus". I hope someone knows about the Ensoniq TS12 to hopefully find out of that was a factory preset, if not they must have made the sound themselves,
