You should practice playing the drawbar organ sound on your keyboard without the sustain pedal if you have a non weighted keyboard. This will help you get ready for organ.
Vision without action is just day dreaming. I miss practicing.

I would recommend getting hearandplay’s organ DVD series. It teaches praise progressions and worship progressions. I personally benefitted a lot from the worship dvds. It teaches you chords to play on every note of the major scale and this technique was super helpful for me to play songs and progressions in other keys (I don’t know of any other DVD’s that use this approach for organ - if there is let me know!). The organ is a beast instrument but keep praying, practicing, listening, and living a saved life and watch God use you!

If you have a volume pedal for your keyboard it would probably be good to use it when practicing organ.

In my personal opinion I love when pianist switches to organ, their style seems a little more unique to me...idk why...I fee like the biggest thing to learning organ is hand and foot coordination, you can always create a sound from drawbars once you understand each one of them...a good example to listen to is Melvin Crispell....Very unique sound....good luck!

These days I do most of my keyboard practice without the sustain pedal.
