Need Help With Moving in Thirds on Organ

I am a beginner on Organ and I am trying to figure out how to do this concept I saw on a YouTube clip.

I don't know if they are moving in thirds up and down the board.I think he is putting the "third" from the chord in his left hand and keep the 1 and  5 in his right, but the person playing on the video called it the Liturgical sound.

Can someone explain how to play what he's doing on the video?

I am trying to learn this style as well. There doesn't seems to be a lot of in depth explanation about this style. I believe its also referred to as the Cathedral sound as well. I can't find it right now, but Lawrence (the guy in the video) did some more videos (on piano) explaining a little about what he is doing. Search his videos and you should be able to find it. Here[1] is another video by the late Keith Johnson on the "Cathedral sound". Check out youtube user KareemByEar1Year. Also check out Pastor Curtis Daniels (COGIC). He's know for playing this style during the COGIC bishops processionals.

Hello,

I know I'm kind of late (as this post seems dead), but I think from a theoretical perspective, the Cathedral/Liturgical sound is, at its core drop 2 voicings. This seem to be a common Jazz concept. There are a bunch of video on youtube discussing drop 2 voicings.
