I have been familiar with the Planetshakers for some time, but recently started really listening to them. I must say, that their bass player is rock solid and can cover a variety of styles including slap. In an interview, he credits gospel bass players for influencing his technique and this goes to show widespread impact that gospel and other forms of urban art have had across cultural and even geographic boarders.
