I'm a pianist, but I play trumpet for my school band. I would love to play trumpet for my church also, but I don't know how to do anything else but to play the melody. I know that there are some great trumpet players in this community. Is there anyone that can help me? I can quickly figure out what key a song is but there is more to the trumpet than just playing along with the melody. God bless you
