Because of the way I recorded it the file is a little choppy and you may notice a few skips. However, it's almost 40 minutes of live music.

WARNING: YOU MAY BECOME OBSESSED WITH THIS RECORDING.
YOU MAY STRUGGLE WITH FEELINGS OF INFERIORITY.
YOU MAY DEVELOPE FEELINGS OF DISTASTE FOR MR. DAVE.
PLEASE IGNORE.

I do ask that you reply with your thoughts so I can know my effort was worth it.  Thank You

KoolMo, I could not get to the file. I kept getting a message that said "the link you have clicked is unavailabel". Is it possible that you can e-mail it to me at brandon@gbidesign.com?  Also, I posted a thread at this site with a link to a video of Chris Dave performing with the Spirit Music Jamia. If you haven't seen that yet it is very good.

If you can't get the video to play smoothly, you may need to download the latest version of realplayer. Also if your computer doesn't have enough RAM you will have problems.

Oh yeah thanks KoolMo for doing whatever you did to make it possible for me to download that file. I appreciate it big time. I have an audio file of that video that I was talking about. If you or anyone else knows how I can post it here let me know. I was wondering if there is a way to convert it to an MP3 file. It is currently in RealMedia format.

You can post it through the same site I'm using to post files.  www.yousendit.com. Follow the directions on the screen.
1. Enter an e-mail address. (could be your own)
2. Browse to the file on your system.
-Enter you e-mail address
3.  Send it

To convert a file to mp3 check this site: http://www.dbpoweramp.com/dmc.htm

"Convert from one format to another, just about every audio type is supported: mp3, mp4, Windows Media Audio (wma), Ogg Vorbis, AAC, Monkeys Audio, FLAC and many others [Codec downloads], whilst preserving ID Tags, "

Holla with any more questions.

Wow, dat was pretty sick. It's good when people can find and post samples of da musicians they look up to. I love how dat snare sounds. It has a nice tight, bold pop. Is dat how a well tuned pearl piccolo snare usually sounds? or if anybody has a different snare dat sounds like dis one, could u tell me what kind it is?

Thanks in advance and God bless.

Here's  a quidk list of records that I know Chris Dave played on.

1. All the Mint Condition albums
2. the 1st Kim Burrell album
3. "Happy People" and "Standard of Language" by Kenny Garrett
4. "Comfort Woman" by Meshell NdegeOcello
5. "Dance of the Infidel" by the Spririt Music Jamia

Definitely check him out on "Standard of Language" by Kenny Garrett. 8O
I'm sure he played on more stuff than what's on this list but those are the one's I know about.

I have a few other things he did that I will post on this site pretty soon.
