Reverb on piano/keyboard sounds.
« on: May 28, 2006, 01:52:35 AM »
Does anybody else use reverb on the piano sound when playing with a band? I do, sometimes, especially on worship songs. The reverb gives it that different feel on the sound and on your playing. So does anybody else do this? Do you put reverb on other sound such as ep's, strings, or organ? When do you think reverb is useful?

Just trying to get ideas and opinions on making keyboard effects more useful. :D
How about giving also other ideas on other types of effects for keyboard sounds.
God bless everybody.  :)

I never use it, because most churches and other venues have more than enough acoustic reverb.  When you're playing with a full band, it can make it muddy.  In the studio it's necessary but better to have them add it in production.

So, that's a no for me, on both keys and guitar.
