"Vocally" KIM BURRELL HANDS DOWN. THEN SHEA NORMAN(HIS GIFT IS UNBELIEVABLE) THEN NIKKI ROSS! But there are a lot of really REALLY "REALLY" gifted singers who haven't even been discovered yet. LOTS OF THEM IN my home town, Memphis

I can think of many..but
I have to agree Shea Norman
Also, I like Smokie Norful
John P. Kee
and so on...

But I guaruntee, there are too many too list to count down to 5, there are so many Gospel artist that go unnoticed, not talking about the big names.

I love the old school.. John P. Kee is the oringinator of a lot of the music today. He's been rocking since half of us where in pampers. And can drop an album tomorrow and kill it. John P. Kee is the Nas of Gospel. A lot of people have bit off his style and ran with it. He's still burping artist.lol

Just playin'...

1. Richard Smallwood (his musical prowess continues to be unmatched)

2. James Hall (choir arrangements are original and covers all styles. How many church choirs in your lifetime have you heard rockin' a James Hall joint? Not many I'm sure.)

3. J. Moss vs. Tonex ( I love Tonex, but J. Moss' sound is unique. Save all the runs and vocal tricks...this guy doesn't sound human to me.)

4. Kim Burrell (excluding that horrible live album all of her musical deliveries have been on point. She's my favorite female vocalist hands down.)

5. Donald Lawrence (scratch his vocals, this guy does it big in the production realm. Not a giant fan but I've got to give the man his credit.)
My goal as a musician is to be better than myself.
