Finger work
« on: May 24, 2007, 01:23:35 PM »
Praise the lord everybody, Does anyone know about finger work. For instance if Im playing a particular song and in between chords I do a little fancy scale or something like that. I hope you guys can grasp a hold of what I'm talking about lol. I mean you hear it on a lot of gospel songs. I think their called transitions, correct me if I'm wrong. If anyone can help me out I would really appreciate it. Be blessed :)
What God is Going to do in your life later on will make sense of whats happening right now.

They are called riffs or runs...

Learn your scales in all keys and this will get you started in the right direction.  Riffs/runs can lead you into chords or be played along with chords.  What is your specific question about this?...If you do a search, you will find numerous discussions on riffs/runs.

Be Blessed!
