Im Just going to use the Key of Ab as an example of what I know thus far!




(A) 
My questions on things with Tritones and RH Licks
1.What left hand fingers do u use when playing a/ tritone (s), (in a song or / and shouting music) I need an example too.

2.How to play this correctly (fingering) Tritone with a RH lick   GbC,FB /BbBF, Ab, F,Ab,F,Ab,F (over and over in shouting music) this is on GK500 but my fingering is wrong.

3.How to play this correctly  GbC, FB/ with this RH Ab(D)EbAb. (D)EbAb. (Jermaine called it the "Shouting Chord").    Im asking how would you play it and how to make it sound good.

I need stuff other than the norm that is posted here but something urbanworship and a style like this, I need Modern, Contemporary, the premium isnt enough.

I have DVDs (I like Jamal Style!DVD not too much Wheatworks--I really didnt like those, Hearandplay was straight ) but still Im looking for the same stuff (like Jamal Hartwell) to be posted here. Some of the users are  hiting some good (phat) stuff (Stuff Im looking for) but not chording it out. (that means you are playing something I like but havent chorded it out.


EX Brandon Bufford chords he did at the begin of Healed Video. I need chords plus fingeing like that. (Also Manifest jonathan nelson & greater purpose. Its chorded Out (John Paul McGee) I like chord style like this its on another web)

(A) Question about Tritones, I learned that you start with your Guns, Pinky & Index finger (FB) and Ring & thumb (GbC) Thats more better.


Ive been practicing how to do those things, Practicing them first does make a difference, trying it a different way does make a differnt.

All of the stuff you want comes from Jamal Hartwell correct? If so, then you should go to gospelkeyboard.com and try to email Jamal Hartwell or his staff. With all of the people that you said that you didn't want to help you, you may not have many other options. Name me on your list if you'd like because I'm nobody but to put T-block, soundofjoy, key-wiz, ddw4e, caikinbro....those guys are the masters of music. If they can't help you....nobody can. Feel free to get angry if you'd like, but I think that if you don't know the basics then all of that phatness isn't going to really make a difference in the long run. Real Talk!!!

dude this is a site where we learn and tell share with the people. if you want to get better first thing is to help yourself. go buy those beginner books and learn the right fingering for all major and minor scales then you will be on your way go buy books,dvd's and shed with people better then you and pray too man. i dont mean to be mean but im sayin you got to do some things yourself man

Well, I will say that if you want Jamal style you need to get HIS dvd's.  IF you want to know what E Bufford was doing, go to YOu tube and send HIM a message.  Style is unique to each individual, and frankly I think you need to figure some of that out for yourself.  AS for fingering, well a lot of that depends on you.  It is quite individual because some say use what is comfortable while others say that it is best to follow classical fingerings. Again this requires practice!!!!

I don't mean to be unkind, but if you have the basics then it is not too hard to play what you hear in your head especially if you are saying you have the styles of the afore mentioned Tblock et. al. down.  I think you need to just spend some time with a good chord book and play around with the voicings of the chords there.  Approach your progression differently by using half-step slides, chord subs etc.  You have to get what you are looking for from hard work. 

Listening also goes a very looooong way.  Get some cd's with the style you are looking for and listen intently. Listen for each instrument separately and try to figure out what is going on.  Maybe you are missing a few notes in a particular spot then rewind and listen to those notes and try to find out what they are.  This will get you much further than someone giving you chords.  YOu will learn and retain what you have learned much better this way and you won't need for anyone to give you chords.  This site is about learning how to learn.   Time and patience are going to be your best bet for this one.
