ok here we go im trying to play different sounds all in the same song. i have all the sounds i want to use on my keyboard ex. acoustic guitar to piano to brass, or maybe bring in some strings
 i have a korg n264 keyboard. what do i need to have all of these sounds at my fingertip when playing so i can flow from one sound to the next  or bring 2 or 3 of the sounds in at the same time.

a module a footcontroller please helpppppp.

You can midi out from the n264 to midi in to any keyboard that has midi compatibility...but I don't think u can use more than one sound on that board...u can have another board that has the similar sound and midi them together and do it that way. any sound module can do that too

I am very familiar with this board. I have the N364. You can make as many splits as you want, but it isn't easy. The best thing to do is go to your combination bank and select a patch (sound) that you know you will not use or want and edit it. You will have to cycle through the parameters and select the sounds you want in your split and assign them to specific keys (low 'E' to 'B' before middle 'C' for on your bass guitar sound for ex.) I'm not at home right now, but you can email me if you need some help later. I also have some old midi files that I created on this board if you want some to practice to.
