Between E and F and B and C, I use only my heel. If you're going slow you can rock it between them, if fast then you have to lift it up.

I post this everytime somebody asks this kind of questions, so here it is again!

http://www.geocities.com/brianserenity/pedalling.htm

I practice everyday, it's the chromatic scale for bass pedals.  I practice it slowly, staying relaxed(that's very important)and then with a metrnome(also very important).

When you use heel toe going up, you're going to end up with the heel on E.

Keeping the pedal depressed, transfer the weight to the toe, and the scoot the heel over to the F.

This sounds a lot harder than it is, but it should be one smooth continous motion.  To listen to it, no one would perceive that anything unusual is going on.  The transistion needs to be smooth.  It took me about a week just practicing those 2 notes.

But once you get it, you've got it.

As this gets smoothed out, and you get used to it, then it won't be no thing for you to do it.

This technique will work in just about any speed.
Thanks for letting me hang with you guys!
