I'm a well rounded musician so I'll just go down the list

Drums- Calvin Rodgers (He is what all church drummers should want to be like)  Jeff Lez from hezekiah walker.

Organ- Melvin, David Blakely, Philip Gardner (from Alabama COGIC)
 PJ Morgan.

There are two guys who had an influence on me.  Both have been my M.O.M. at some point.  First one was Kirk Massey.  He was old school, he played like Twinkie.  The other is Chris "Butch" Woodie.  That dude is amazing.  He the type who can do what he wants to how and when he wants to do it.

Yes, Bishop Patterson's organist is Derrick Jackson (who also plays for his father, Pastor Andrew Jackson @ Faith Temple COGIC in Whitehaven.) He plays the early service at ToD then to Faith Temple, then back to the catch the end of the late service @ ToD, or so i've been told.) Inspirations to me - definitely Derrick Jackson, Pastor Mark Machan here in Memphis, David Gilliard ( a local musician ), also Miles Davis, there are so many who have influenced me.
Blessings!
Only by His mercy,

 Devin S. Ferguson

I play the organ and the there has been many that have influenced me but the two that have influenced me the most would be William"Chipper"Smith out of Atlanta who plays for Nathan Simmons and James Morton, Michael Ross who plays for Ronald E. Brown. These guys have really taught me how to flow in a service and how to be a humble and annointed musician. The biggest thing they've said to me is that it is a high honor to be a musician. Y? When we get to heaven there will be no more preaching, teaching, prophecy, laying on of hands, etc. BUT music will go on thru all eternity. So it is a high honor to be apart of something that will last forever. So everytime you play give it all you got becuase thats just alil part of what you have to give back to Him!    :)

Twinkie Clark played on the safest place by Karen Clark.

Well me being in COGIC for many years, I was influenced by Ronald Kersey of Detriot, the organist who taught Twinkie how to play.  Twinkie Clark, has been an influence in my life on a personal note and as a musician she is down to earth and she has taught me a lot of chord structure, Ernest Allen Jr, of Chicago IL, he is the organist now of Apostolic Pentecostal Church of Morgan Park ( Bishop William Ellis) and he is the former organist of St James COGIC ( Elder Willie James Campbell) for over 25 years, he has taught me hymns and major major chord structure, Also I learned a lot from Fred Nelson Jr and Fred Nelson III from chicago First Church of Deliverance, they are the masters of the Hammond Organ and they are hymns and anthems musicians. Also Rev Eric Thomas of chicago,  Elder Rudolph Stanfield, Min Thomas Whitfield, James Brow. Also Derrick Jackson of Memphis each time I see him, he gives me Chords and I write them down and post them in my bathroom mirror so I can see them in the morning. Kevin Bond, Rodney East and also David Blakley, have all influenced me to being the Musician I am today
