Lamentations 5:10 Our skin was black like an oven because of the terrible famine

OR

Job 30:30 My skin is black upon me, and my bones are burned with heat

OR

Song of Solomon 1:5 and 6 I am black, but comely, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, as the tents of Kedar, as the curtains of Solomon. Look not upon me, because I am black, because the sun hath looked upon me: my mother's children were angry with me; they made me the keeper of the vineyards; but mine own vineyard have I not kept.

OR

Jeremiah 8:21 For the hurt of the daughter of my people am I hurt; I am black; astonishment hath taken hold on me.

Okay, Okay I'll Admit I had a lil Help. But some of the verses I already knew. (My dad use to be a 5%er. Now he's Muslim Go figure. LOL!!!)

Good question.

When the tower of Babel was being build God gave people different languages. I think that's when He created the different races too... white, black, asian, hispanic, indian... we all came from the same beginning.

What do you'all think?

All i know is that where people are saying the Garden of eden was....its a place where..you had dark skin....and so the begining of creation was with dark skinned people... Now were they black? I dont know, but i do know that they werent white, or light skinned. and i dont mean high yellow either.....
and as for nakia given those references we were there!!!!!

Genesis 10:6

And the sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, and Phut, and Canaan.

This of course is not a direct reference to black people, but the name Cush
(Noah's grandson) is widely thought to mean what became Ethiopia.  There are more Bible references to support this, and it gets in depth, but it all points to the idea that Ham's peeps... wuz our peeps!  :D

God bless,

I got this from a popular bible site:

Simon of Cyrenian, a North African man, from Libya, helped carry Jesus' cross a significant part of the way. (Matt. 27:32, Mark 15:21, Luke 23:26, John 19:17)
