I prefer pro tools and Logic. I use HD3 for audio and sequence and write songs with Logic. The 2480 is cool. In the end it's important to remember that they're only tools. A great song is great no matter what you use to record it with. Ultimately the sound you get depends on the engineer as well. I've seen some great stuff done with a four track. It helps to have good musicians and other personell as well. Charlie Parker once recorded a live concert with a Plastic Saxophone. But it doesn't hurt to have an Elam 251E to a Neve 1073 to an Apogee AD-16X to HD3 either.

Jason Aguilar is a good guy and an awesome keyboard player. I used remember watching him play at conventions when i was younger. His uncle Peter Meza is a monster.
