  :)  Thanks Uriah

Ok... I tried another one.  Here's Uriah's Bass Run #10

This is a technique that I still need to work on... often I have unwanted noise from hitting other strings not slapped ... I know I need to mute but that seems to be a bit difficult for me... any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Now I'm jealous, cause I can't slap at all.  I really haven't worked on it yet.

You sound really good Lady.

I'm gonna have to figure out how to post some stuff.

I feel soooo silly, I just read it was an audio clip. i thought it was an audio/visual clip!

You know what I've heard some thumping in BIll's like that before about a year ago and it was a lady but I didn't pay much attenion to her. "smacking myself in foreheard"

Praise Jesus!  Thanks guys what you've said is very encouraging and is pushing to stay constant in practice.  :)

Maybe this will help some of you who are trying to figure out how to record to your PC.

This is what I did... I used Cool Edit (you could probably use sound recorder as well) as my software.  I simply plugged directly into my laptop with a cord that has on one end a 1/8th inch connector and the other end a 1/4th inch connector.   Then I opened my Volume Control thingy, opened the Advanced button for the microphone and turned on the microphone boost (this allowed me to hear myself through my speakers).  Now the recording begins.

Darryl (4hisglory) has been wonderful enough to have a "Upload Files" area for us (don't know if you have to been a premium member to use).  You could upload your recordings there.

...I really dont know what happens to the people that I teach.  Most dont ever get back to me...

so when I see this it is like Christmas to me....the best gift of all!
someone took it seriously and learned something just the way it was intended!...

I am soooooooooo proud of this young lady for stepping up and doing what she had to do to learn....believe me everyone will not do this!

I am sure other folks are doing well..they just never tell me!

once again this is benefit in sharing what you know with others....
