people tell me that im a sick runner...i just have a problem with sick chords (LOL) i can run with the left in tha bass but not as fast as my right hand can do.........but to me runs come easy.....just need to add some sick chords(FOR THA LEFT HAND) to the sick runs

Hey fellas and others I just have to keep it real. Born in N.Y. Queens Village lived there all my life. I play drums as any one who knows me knows among other things. Just got to big up 3 of my people's that no one has talked about. 1. Mike Joseph from Far Rockaway queens. The man can play any style and even your stlye and flip it. 2. Alvin Wess from Hempstead L.I. the man is crazy and just plain nuts. 3. Harold Frazier who is more a keyboard player but can tare down an organ. He studied under Mike for a minute and are like family just like myself. I have tons of video of me playing with all 3 of them and will post it very soon.

I would have to agree with those who said Derrick Jackson...he plays the craziest runs even behind the preacher (Bishop G.E. Patterson) and somehow does not seem like he is doing too much or overplaying the preacher.

Yo I gotta say that Scotty Had it right! Mike Joseph from Far Rockaway is one of the sickest cats in NYC! Most really don't know him but he played on a Jeffery White and the Soul Stirring Crusade Choir album back in 1981 or 1982 when he was like 12 or 13! Kid is BAD!
