Yeah, that song is off the hook.  Napper is a crazy drummer.  He's got a website. calvinnapper.com, and a DVD called Diligent Hands. Also, that Micah Stampley CD is off the hook.

YO! i thought the drummer was Sput SeaWright man :?:  but the song is nice and the album is nice but to see him do WAR CRY is really what will throw you off because the song is really hype and when you hear it , you think he's on stage and him and his background singers are all dancing and their having a good time in the lord right :!:  :D NO :!: I saw a quick clip of him on BET doing that song and him and his background singers where just standing there singing like it was a slow song and he was doing all these rips with his voice screaming as he does and he didnt move at all. It kind of took the joy out of the song because its a going to WAR song  :!:  :x  not im just standing song. Im not a Micah Stampley hater :!:    i have the CD in my car, its just someone needs to tell him about stage presence, because he has none at all,  and Im not the only one who thinks so, but for those who wonder about the album :?:  It is a pretty nice album to me :!:  :D

He performed that song during my churches anniversary this year and he does remain too calm (in my opinion
) during that song. However, having been around a lot of trained singers... I think that he is just trying to stay "centered" and "planted" t o get the most power from his voice. He fancies the high octave range and that is taxing.

I saw the Man Power performance on TBN and he was hype with the song and had dancers and danced and sang himself with a head mic.  He is not acclaimated to that yet. Just not trained to sing that way it seemed. I love the song though.

That makes sense.  With so much movement, you have to train yourself to maintain notes and registers while your body is going moving so much.  That takes focus, discipline, and time.

That style is pretty old to me. Kind of hard to enjoy something you've heard repeatedly over the course of a ten year period.
