Gospel Bounce
« on: January 22, 2004, 06:03:47 PM »
Hello all,

I don't know if I am using the correct terminology for this but, could someone please give me some more insight or some examples of how to play a "Gospel Bounce" for the chords in my left hand when I am playing the organ. I think I have seen it on one of Samuel Tolbert's Video files on his website and Butch Heyward also does this on his video from Wheat Works Pro.  He is playing the song "The Windows of Heaven are Open" and the whole time during the song, his left hand has a "steady bounce" rhythm with the left hand chords. Also when doing this bounce is it just chords made to follow the changes in the song?

Can someone please post some examples of this?

Thanks and God Bless!

I use to have some information about this that I got from Hammondman.  I'll try to find it.
