Yeah, I have been to DeRidder.  Many many moons ago.  A high school playoff game if I am not mistaken.  Never gone to church down there though.

I've definitely heard of DeRidder...it's like 2nd home to me. I go to school in Lake Charles, and DeRidder is about 45 minutes north of where I am.

I was playing for the youth choir at Sweet Home B.C. last semester, but had to stop b/c I'm doing "academic suicide" this semester (22 hours).

I know you man I've heard you play several times. I played with you at that funeral and I play for the singin Conventions. I play for Mt. Zion! (My brother plays tha drums, he's 19, I'm 15>)

Oh, you must be talking about Mr. Sammy Childs' funeral   :)  I had to take it back to the N.O. for that one...I look at funerals like this: just because the person is dead doesn't mean the service has to be.  :D

yeah, we wrecked dat funeral, until that man came in and rained on our parade. but I think I'm gettin better everytime I play, dat's wut it feels like (don't get me wrong, I'm not conceited) but I'm gettin better now and we have a singin convention Saturday. I'm surprised I saw somebody on the site that even knew of DeRidder!

Saturday, we did good. Our choir was really young but we did very very well to have that age group. Now I know what it feels like to play and direct for the first time lol. But Corey helped me out a whole lot. That's my boy!
