Who has the best runs?

The entire Clark family has a style that'll bring chills to you. But I would've put Dorinda as a choice. She threw down on a song she did with John P. Kee, I forgot the title.

I agree with the statement about Dorinda......she has a style that is phonomenal :-)

Now, someone mentioned Nikki Ross.....yesssss the girl is OUT OF THIS WORLD....(from Houston). She is cold on the keys and has runs and range out of this world. She's like a Kimaren Burclark; all in one  :wink:

Another person that I would have had as a choice is Lacretia Campbell. WHEW! She has a range, awesome runs, and a soprano voice that surpasses all that I've heard so far.

i respect everyones opinion up here

as far as runs go nobody is better then kim burrell  but she lacks in range so she is in a box when it comes to higher register things.  so my vote for sickest runs higher and lower egister would have to be Melonie daniels  and male i knew everyone was going to say darryl and smokie  and by the way there is no comparrison darryl got that hands down he been running longer then smokie been alive but for male i say shea norman i know his cd was a little wack but i heard tha man live at the cogic last year it was nuts

I'm sorry, but Dorinda is a beast. Maybe its just the uniqueness of her voice, but something her is just awesome. I mean go back to the old clark sisters when they were a group and Dorinda ate it. Karen is cool, but I think she's losing her touch these days. Its just too much for me. I love runs, but Karen needs to know when to give it a rest sometimes.

The others are all outstanding too, but Dorinda C. is outrageous.
