anyone got opinions on the 76 key version of the roland fantom workstations.

Roland is closing out the line ( supposedly) and my localmusic store is selling them at a discount.

I already own the  rd 700.   But I'm looking into making some sequences.

I know most here favor the motif or the korg.  But anyone got a bad experience with the fantom

The only thing I do not like about Roland is that they do not keep the same line lately.  What's up with that??  I mean in 1 - 2 years they no longer carry the model?

So if spent 3k on a Fathom S88 the Fathom X8 is much better with 1 Gig and color LCD?  for the same price?

It's almost like car sales :)
