You can find Butch on Gregg Haynes and the Happy Guitar CD I String Because I'm Happy Vols. 1 and 2, also on Gregg Haynes and the Happy Guitar Live and Direct. You should be able to find these on
www.happyguitar.com however this site is down until Monday. Also he switches between organ and keys on the St. Louis Alumni Chorale CD "Look Where the Lord Has Brought Us From"….you can find that on
www.ntimemusic.com if you look through their catalogue.
Other than that I know you can find him on the Kennerly Temple Anniversary CD…but I don't know if you can find that outside of St. Louis.
On these CD's however he just plays in the pocket so he really doesn't sound too much different from a regular organist, but I love his work on The Gregg Haynes CD's esp. Vol. 2
Also I've been watching this thread and decided not to comment but I will say this…I don't know Butch but I've met him and heard him play he is truly amazing, however his humility was more amazing than his gift which I think is something we all should strive for. On Levi 'Too' King's newest project which can be purchased on
www.metoomusic.com Butch sings on a song entitled "Heart of Worship" which truly encompasses our mission as musicians and how we fail as the chorus says "I'm going back to the heart of worship and its all about you, its all about you Jesus. I'm sorry Lord for the thing I've made it, when it's all about you, it's all about you. I just want us to keep that in mind when we're talking about who's the best and etc. Be blessed
