Jonathan nailed it on the head therefore I would like to retract my statement about teaching sex ed in the church.  Well not really...because when I was thinking sex ed, I was thinking of it the way I see it.  As an act of intamacy between a man a woman who have committed by word to love each other before God.  You ever wondered why the marriage is sealed by "I do" and you also seal you commitment to God with believing in your heart and confessing with you mouth.  God is watching our words.

It's kind of funny this topic because sexy can't be looks only because today more than ever, if you are missing something, you can go buy it.  No hair...get  a weave...No chest....see the doc....Don't like your eyes....get contacts....Need longer lashes....go buy some....Lips not full...inject'm with fat

Makes you wonder why in the world would you want to even pick up anything from the club or just go on looking period.  It's all an illusion anyway.  As my boy says "when she wakes up with sulfuric morning breath and singes the hairs in you nostrils,"  can you still love her.  What about after 40 lbs and three kids.  Though I have my own challenges staying in shape, I make sure if my wife is feeling bad about her looks, that I either get out on the road with her or take her to see a trainer (and pay for it).  Encourage her in efforts to lose, gain, move, push, pull, hide, tuck because it's about her feeling good about herself.  Man if she don't feel good about who she is and what she is then I ain't go be happy because it will be a dry season.

Just having a little fun...fellas let's take care of our women.  Women, especially black women, you know you already have that gene so take care of your self.  I don't care what size you are.  Skinny has nothing to do with being in shape.  I know a lot of skinny people that have zero endurance and muscular strength.  Believe me, I'm a former Marine and when I was on active duty I could outrun most people that I out weighed by 50/60 pounds.

The Bible says that if any one causes one of the least of these to stumble its better that they tie a mill stone around their neck and be cast into the sea. So if the way you dress ( Im talking to both genders) causes people to sin then we need to change it. with that being said Iknow some men would lust over a woman in a potatoe sack and thats just wrong, but I would be very suspicious of a man that tells me that he dosent take a ocasional glance.

I'm looking at it realistically and truthful! Something that some of you bigger bible Christians fail to do! Why do you think so many youth males fall, because of unreal teaching! Teach on the reality of human nature and how to over come them using Godly standards. Not spit out all your I`m high and mighty unable to obtain Christian babel ! Side note, We need to start teaching sex ed. in Sunday schools! Its better then a secular teacher teaching our kids it! You understand now!

Can I throw in 2 cents?

First of all, the teaching of sex, etc to young people is not the responsibility of the church. It is the responsibility of the parents.

That is why there are men's and women's ministries. Men teach men, women teach women. Anything else is usually a recipie for disaster.

Look at what the Bible says. "Let the older women teach the younger women how to love their husbands." Paul was telling Timothy not to think he can climb into the ring with the younger women . . . . Paul said let the older women handle it.

Second, if it were not possible to kill the flesh . . . that means hormones, too . . . then the Bible would not have commanded us to do it. Just people there are plenty of people who choose not to do it doesn't mean that it can't be done.

Third, the Bible says if a person cannot contain, then they should marry. We need to see the vicious circle many people are traveling in . . . they don't obey GOD, so they are less likely to marry. They do unwise and carnal things, which makes other saints pass them by. So they say there is no one to marry. However, the desire for union is still there, but there are fewer and fewer people who are ready to marry. So people sin. Which makes them less likely to marry until they are purged and clean. But they don't want to be purged and clean, so they sin. Why? Because they aren't married. But they aren't married because there still needs to be a purging from the sin. So they sin. Which makes marriage even further off . . .

We need to call a stop to this Shut it down.

I tried to read everything so here's my thought.

Yes woman can be both sexy and Godly...(I'm using the word sexy/attracting interchangebly) a woman can be attracting for as many a varied reason as there are men to be attracted to her.  You can be attracted to a woman/man and it can have nothing to do with what they are wearing or what position you are in married/single or waiting. (Yes realistically you can be attracted to someone else and be married BUT the difference is you don't act On these thoughts.)

That's why it's important to continue to fast and pray because this is how you learn to bind your flesh and not act on the thoughts you have.  God is a spirit but your body/ mind/eye and ear gate are flesh and until you have learned to battle/ control and deny your flesh keeping it under subjection, you can be blindsided by your attraction to someone else.

There are many sexy christian women in the world....our sexiness often has more to do who we are and what others find sexy in us (for the real women of God)!!! There is just something incredibly attracting about a beautiful, powerful, annoited woman of God.  And yes some people find it sexy...
Just ask the Pastor...well he is sleeping right now...but

In my opinion I think that sex should be taught the right way in church, if being taught. I mean, why God designed it because he did design it for a purpose. People abuse this alot. If the parents are abusing it, I mean like having an affair, then how are they going to teach the children. We need good Godly men and women to look up to, to help us with our Christian walk. For example, my father committed suicuide, so how would I know how a man really thinks or acts without being taught about it. If I had not have gone to church and learned some of these things, I still probably wouldn't know.

well i think what 4His Glory is tlkain about is outside of the church as well.. not that women are livving double lives but like i heard a story true story that one fo the young men in the church were walkin in the mall and saw this woman walkin in front of him she had the walk and not only that she was wearing these white pants with a thong of course and he stepped up to her and when she truned around it was one of the ministering staff from the church Evangalist so and so... now she's in the mall walkin just chillin... i happen to know a  couple of women who are absolutely gorgeous God made them that way and i have to catch myself sometimes cause i might get cought staring.. not in any way but they are just beautiful...


Now God knew what He was doing when he made Woman.. he made Woman so that man would be attracted to her...i mean like others daid there is nothing wrong in admiring or achknowledge that a woman looks good but i do agree with others that it is up to us men to keep our thoughts under subjection even if it is out there... case in point.. my girlfriend b4 we started dating was atrracted to me i was attracted to her as well i just didn't put the move out just yet.. one day she came to my office and we were tlkain and i happend to see her panty showin now i politely said "if you don't someone goin after your candy you might not want the wrapper to show.." i made a joke about it and she was a lil embarassed i don't knwo if she did it on purpose or not but that's wasn't what i was concerend about the point is that it  could've easily gone another way..i just chose not to b/c that's npt the type of person i am..

I have enjoyed reading the post. I trully feel that sexiness reflects your attitude and self esteem.  I can tesify that when a woman has self esteem issues, she tends to dress to be unnoticed.  Sometimes this can mean wearing baggy clothes or wearing plain hair stlyes and etc.  Now, when I got myself together, gathered confidence, and began to love myself, I did a complete makeover.  No more baggy clothes and sports apparrel.  Im in heels, dress suits, skirts, and gochos "however ya spell them".  I wear my jewlry and earings. I also make sure my hair and skin is ALWAYS together.  I even make sure I smell great with fragrances amd lotions.  There is nothing wrong with celebrating your beauty.  So yes, I am grown and sexy because after all I have been through, It's time to celebrate!
