Sister T - hear you but I also know that as my Pastor would say " you can plug your childs ears if you want to but realize they are already talking about it in school so you might as well let them hear it in a godly context rather than the worlds context"
I do however understand the conditions of this board.
I have done extensive study in the word and Sister T made a huge point that I hope we heard " the word of God has to be your doctrine or what u live by".
Look at this scripture in Hebrews Hbr 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset [us], and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.
I'm going to try and use this scripture to pose a thought. There are things that are sins and some things that are weights.
Not everythging is sin, or a sin but, it can still be a weight; something that slows your progress.
Somethings we learn from doctrines and rules and tradition have become weights. Not sin but yet and still it is waying you down keeping you from being able to have liberty in your life. I caution you as Sister t did to search the scripture and not be weighed down by religion.
gonna see if the grammer whiz pops in and catches the glitch
