well isnt God incredible then why not our praise be incredible. yes the word means hard to believe but think about all the he has done and we know nothing is too hard for God and he still amazes me by just his grace and mercies. hard to believe doesnt mean unbelieveable.

One question. How is your relationship was GOD? Has He done something for you, which words can not express? In Isaiah, the writer tried to express how great GOD is (and he couldn't)

Isa:9:6: For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Please, be careful, not to sell God short. The fact is that His is Incredible, awesome. Look around. Take a look at yourself. You were made in His imagine. That along is awesome, and incredible.

GOD Bless
All That I Am, I Owe to the LORD.

whoa wait dont get the wrong impression God does leave me in awe of who he is and what he does
....but you have to think about the word in-credible....credible-offering reasonable grounds to be believed....in-not...... so when you put those two together  not offering reasonable grounds to be believed ....doesnt that sell God short? dont you think? i mean its easily to be tricked by words we cant go around saying that God is fantastic-based on fantasy;not real   the bible says that he that Believeth on me...etc.

thats the point im trying to bring out.

I understand, but if we try to make sense out of a lot of gospel we will find that they don't make any sense at all.  I like the song and the message.
When the minstrel played, the hand of the LORD was upon him.  II Kings 3:15

Personally, I've never heard the song!! Paul said,"thanks be to God for His indescribable gift". Now Ms.B3, I don't really do semantics with songs, but a more fitting word would be( in your case) supernatural. The things that God does supercede our understanding sometimes and in response to that we ought to offer our most excellent form of praise... To surmise this post, I will say this: as long as we use natural words to describe and even define a SUPERnatural God, they will never be the right ones or even enough!!

Many times words have more than one meaning.  The word incredible does mean unbelievable or disbelief, but the word also means astonishing.  The word astonishing means so surprisingly impressive as to stun or overwhelm.

Now, the bible says, Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bossom.  Luke 6:38

Running over  ;D That sounds like overwhelm, to be overwhelming is to be astonishing and to be astonishing is to be incredible

Let brotherly love continue.
