Anybody ever use any of these drums? I heard a great deal about them, but I've never had a chance to play on them? How do they sound?

I have the pork pie little squealersnare drum . It has a high pitch ring to it if you put the right head on it. It is pure maple and you can get one from musicians friend for 169.99. :)

POrkPie's sound great. Get a "REAL" Pork Pie thoough the American Made ones not the Squealers. The Ammerican Made drums mad e the reputation. THe edges are on point. Also they really made their name of the thicker ply snares... 10 ply, 12-ply, 16 ply, 20 ply drums. Those cost you but they are the drums to have.
