Expanding my horizons
« on: July 13, 2006, 11:17:54 PM »
Got a question for yall.  Today I was at my college orientation and i came across some information about my schools jazz ensemble.  It is an auditon gig.  Its not a problem because i can follow charts.  It deals with big band and swing a lot.  I used to have a gig like this in high school but i gave it up due to ignorance and stupidity.  Do you think i should go for it once school starts?  Let me know what yall think.

Most definitley. Don't make another band decision that you know you've alreaduy made (giving up the gigin high school).

True cuz now that i look back, we was one of the baddest swing bands full of teenagers EVER to play in our city.  In terms of swing and big band, we got busy.  but then my boys was hatin and tellin me not to due it and i was only like 15, so i listened.  but i'm Definitely gonna hop on this so i can add some more stuff to my style
