There is a really good website for guitar players, its called www.ibreathemusic.com It has an article about tapping but I dont think its the two hand tapping stlye that stanley jordan does. But check the site out.

Check out Stanley Jordan's website, he recorded a video in the late 80's and I think its available frm his site.

I've seen a couple of street musicians do this.  It's pretty amazing to watch them play and play songs that would be very difficult to do using standard guitar playing methods.
