« on: May 19, 2004, 04:26:58 PM »
Hey! I'm sure I play all kinds of chords, but I don't know the names of any of them. Could someone be so kind to pick a key (C#) and provide the names of the chords and what keys they consist of. And I'll take it from there. Thanks in advance
Ex. C major = C,E,G

Yes!!!! :D  This is exactly what I was talking about. I'm going to do try this just as soon as I get home. Thank you so much for your quick response. I'm sure once I play what you've given me, I'll be like "oh, that's what that is?". Thanks again. Be Blessed

P.S. If anyone else wants to add to this, I have my pen and paper ready.

Well...you could go to the music theory section in the menu to learn those things. The owner of this site, 4HisGlory, provided great information for those who really want to learn their scales and how chords are formed. You'd be surprised at what you'll find at this site if you utilize and explore all the great information throughout this site, and most likely most of the answers to your questions are already located within the pages of this site!  :D

Thanks again, I'll be sure to search that site. I'm sorta new at this.

Hey, Longfingers...out of curiosity, are your fingers really long? The reason I ask is because one of my old friends Shawn as we grew up, we called him that or just "Fingers", because he is absolutely cold on the keys and his fingers are actually looong. Right now he plays for Kirk Franklin and Erikyah Badu, but we started out together in God's Property. So I was just wondering.
