Yall check out this video clip of Calcin Napper. Is it me or is it he is using that young style of playing. On cd's his playing sounds a whole lot more matured ( I guess because he is straight pocket). To tell the truth I didnt know he could get down like that.

I've seen it before but i couldn't figure out how to download the clip. Thanks lilben for the clip and yea I had Calvin Napper down on my list of underrated drummers. He has a lot of licks and tricks he got but he doesnt show too much of that. I like that lol. I'm gonna get his dvd because I'm sure I will like it.

that clip is available for downlaod off of calvin's site. www.calvinnapper.com he is smooth. his video isn't a bunch of chops, just the pocket with a little flava added in...

Yo what up lil ben, thanks for the clip.  I dont know alot about Mr napper, but dude is real nice,  love that pocket. I just went over to his website and purchased the dvd.

He plays.... not a great quality video... but you can pull some ideas out of it...
