Looking for lyrics
« on: August 20, 2006, 11:20:12 AM »
:'( I have been looking for the lyrics to a song I heard several times on the Atlanta area Fayetteville, GA gospel radio station but could not get the station to respond to emails or phone calls.
Can you help me find the artist and album with this song which has the words: "How you gonna sing about love, without singing about me?"
I'm a Katrina evacuee who lost all my music and everything else, and someone told me Canton Jones sang this song but I spen $17.00 I could not afford to lose on his Love cd only to learn it was not the right one.
Now, I'm stuck with a rap cd that I did not want.
Please help.
Oh, there is another song by Helen Baylor called "Wounded Soldier" and a James Cleveland "Greatest Hits" very old that I would like to have also.
Another song with the words, I think, "He's gonna do it, do it, fix it" but I don't know the artist.
Does anyone know of any web site that I can down load gospel music for free?

First off, welcome to LGM

You indeed bought the wrong CD....you needed to buy 'The Password' CD from Canton Jones.  That song is really nice (as I'm sure you know) ;)

I do not know of any websites that you can download gospel music for free, however I do buy my tracks from either WalMart.com ($.88/track) or if I can't find it there, then iTunes ($.99/track)

I think i have heard of the last song before, because it sounds familiar. Can anyone tell me who sings: Falling In Love With Jesus.

Love Song
(written by Canton Jones & James Bethea)
(recorded by Canton Jones)

Verse 1:
I made the heavens farther than the eye can see,
placed the stars in the sky,
made the moon shine brightly.

Woke you up with the sun
shining through your window,
sing you a serenade every time the wind blows.

See, the earth in all of its beauty,
it all came from me,
(and if you don't know),
(now you know, know),
(now you know, know).

Take the time to look above,
and you'll know you can't sing about love...

Without singing about me,
singing 'bout me?
Without singing about me?
Without singing about me?

Verse 2:
I made the clouds,
even the air you breathe,
made you in My image,
so that you can be like Me.

My love is sweet,
gonna make you happy,
such joy and peace,
wanna give You all of me.

It's the reason why you smile (reason why you smile, yeah),
it make living all worthwhile (living all worthwhile, yeah),
it will bring tears to your eyes,
so how you gon' sing love....

Chorus:
Without singing about Me?
(Let Me, let Me),
(love you, love you)
(I just want to),
(let me love you).

Singing 'bout me.
(Let Me, let Me),
(love you, love you)
(I just want to),
(let me love you).

Without singing about me?
(Let Me, let Me),
(love you, love you);
(I just want to),
(let me love you).

Without singing about me?
(Let Me, let Me),
(love you, love you);
(I just want to),
(let me love you).

Bridge:
How you gon' sing about love?
How you gon' sing about love?
How you gon' sing about love?
how you gon' sing about love,
without singing 'bout me?

Chorus

Bridge

Chorus

There was a mistake, this part should be...

It's the reason why you smile (reason why you smile, yeah),
it make living all worthwhile (living all worthwhile, yeah),
it will bring tears to your eyes,
so how you gon' sing about love....

Actually you can't download music from that site, you can only listen to the music provided like Nuthinbutgospel. :)
