Hello Everybody.   :)  What's the best DVD I can get for funk?  I mean something really tight.  I heard Dennis Chambers DVDs are good.

Funk can come from anywhere... Funk is all about feel and syncopation of hihat and foot but can be simple or complex... remember that.

That being said...

Soul of the Funky Drummer by Clyde Stubblefield and Jabo Starks
Groove Master by Bernard Purdie
Advanced Funk Studies by Rick Latham
Tower of Groove, Vol. I and II by David Garibaldi
Commandments of RnB Drumming by Zoro
Funkifying the Clave by Robby Ameen
Jeff Porcaro Star Licks by Jeff Porcaro

...I'll add "In the Pocket by Dennis Chambers".  Also, John Blackwells' DVD.  Yeah, I said it, John Blackwells' DVD has a lot of Funk.

Well, I definitely have some options now.   :)

If you had to pick ONE, which one would it be?
