I'm assuming that you're inquiring about the Ah-Ba-Qua.
Its an African rhytm that was taught to me by a guest clinician when I was in high school. Its a triplet permutation.
Here is is in lamons terms:
This is the breakdown over a bar of four.
1-la-li, (2)-
la-li, 3-(la)-
li, 4-la-(li).
That is the basic premise of the whole joint. You can do fill ins and different permutations of it.
