Learnt Songs
« on: October 02, 2006, 05:06:54 AM »
this is just a thought....would'nt it be nice to hear how other folks play the different songs that we sing in church whether it be P&W, a Choir song, etc.  For ex. Lord i lift your name on high.  I've listened & checked out the replies to that post and how everyone plays and i guess it is unique to whomever is playing it.. i will post my version of it... and also my version of "it is to you i give the glory"....maybe this will be a start and it can give myself and others something to listen to and practice to...

Keep in mind, I've  only been playing a little over a year.  I'm not that good, but will the Lords help I try.

Nice post godsbassman.
Thanks Mysteryman always good to hear positive words. The Lord is driving me to work hard on my bass playing again after 35 years away.
Man add the years up and this month it will be 40 years not playing the bass. I even stop listening to bass lines, until the Lord told me to pick-up my bass again and play praises to him. Little over a year ago.
So Thanks again
