I know 1 guy that plays right, but strung left and another that play left, but strung right. That's not weird? Either way, it's upside down.

I have a friend named James Bell who plays bass guitar left-handed. It is amazing how he does it. That dude just about the best player I have ever seen. I hope one day I can play just as good or even better than he does.

It usually works out that way. If someone teaches you all they know, and you practice/study hard enough, you'll usually surpass their skill level/knowledge. This doesn't just apply to music though.
I actually think my wife will play organ better than me eventually, but I'll stomp her on everything else.

Wayman Tisdale and he's awsome, there was show on the NYC jazz ch
Which Sponsered by Stanley Clarke and several bass players including Mr. Tisdale with Sheila E on drums, talk about bass solos WOW!
I'm a lefty bassplayer I learned on a righty Fender P then at a 10 to 20 percent markup I started buying Lefty Basses and strung for lefties.
Even though I can play a righty bass

Greetings all,
I'm new to the neighborhood and am glad to be here. I'm a lefty, but I play like a righty

Check out Anthony Harmon(Rest in Peace)
He made over 400 recordings.
He played bass for Yolanda Adams, Lamar Campbell,. Bev Crawford, Greg O'Quin and more.
To me he was one of the best gospel bassist and addition to being a left handed player.

I agree with Rob T about Jimmy Haslip. If anyone is interested there are some great video clips of him performing with the Yellowjackets at
www.yellowjackets.dds.nl
. If your computer can't find the server, you can do a Google search for "yellowjackets fan site". There will be a link to the site at the top of the list of results.
