Yoooooo.  I got a hydraulic and put it on my Snare drum and that baby is KICKIN!  I never thought to try it on snare.  I HATE the way they sound on toms so I avoided them like the plague.

Only on LGM do I get this kinda info.

The only down side to it is really sensitive playing in my opinion doesnt sound good because of the thickness, but otherwise ya its a beast!

Yea.  I definitely wouldn't recommend it for jazz playing.  I played on it yesterday and the pop was so loud I had to play much lighter than usual.

Hey, Last Christmas...when I got my MHX, I posted about me putting a hydraulic on it..as well as on my Artwood Maple Snare. I got hung from the highest tree by all y'all! haha. I do not use it anymore...but I thought it was pretty nice.
