...I love Marvin's playing and the way he incorporates a different snare to each song that he records. If I remember correctly, Omar Hakim said once on a Pearl Drums promotional video, that he takes 25 to 40 snares to a recording session. I guess he loads them up on a Uhaul.
Well, I think Marvin does the same thing.
...Fred Hammond is doing new things now. He has a new sound and Calvin Rogers, who pops in and out of here, is laying it down for him.
