They're both acoustic guitars but one is a steel string and the other is a nylon.
Yeah, nylon string guitars are typically classical or flamenco guitars while steel strings come in a variety of sizes; dreadnaught, grand concert, jumbo, folk, parlor, etc...
Music theory is not always music reality.

not to mention the wider neck on classical/spanish/flamenco guitars. in my opinion, it helps with fingering on regular guitars too. i have a cheap "classical", but being able to finger fluidly on it makes u that much more fluid on the regular axes where the strings are closer together. in a nutshell, on the classical, u have to stretch ur fingers more. right any experts?

miss u guys, havent been on in a while.

Some like them big, others small, and some in between. All types of guitars will sound different. A jumbo will sound deeper than a 000 model,or a palor guitar. These styles have been passed on throughout the generations. Dreadnoghts are very popular in  bluegrass  music while smaller guitars are a fingerpickers dream. Jumbos are for people who like that extra boom in their music.
