What up Family!!!!!

I just picked up a Dennis Chambers snare about 2 weeks ago from some guy that was selling it on craigslist and I got a steal.  When I talk about a steal, I'm talking about 1/2 of the price you would get in anywhere and it was only a year old!!!  Praise God.  Anyway, I picked it up and tuned it several different ways and I LOVE THE SNARE!!!!  It has crack and the sensitivity at the lower dynamic levels is awesome.  However, remember that it's how you approach your drumming that will make your drumming speak and not the drum.  But I would highly search Ebay or something like that because if you do buy it new it's going to cost you a pretty penny, but I highly recommend it.  OH, one more thing, the only "flaw" is the snare strainer mechanism.  It's a GREAT Concept, but there's just something fishy about it, but if you can get over that, then go for it.  Let me know if it works out for you.  Take care and God Bless.

Good review.  I've read a lot of reviews regarding the D.C. signature snare, and each owner had nothing but good things to say about it.

...isn't the Dennis Chambers snare the same as the MMX???  Well of course the strainer is different but honestly, that doesn't make much of a difference. :-\

Yeah, by comparing the two, the only difference is the strainer and split lug versus single lug design
