over 25 new drawbar settings
« on: April 14, 2007, 06:39:33 PM »
according to the hammond manual a full B3 with percussion has over 256,000,000 different possible sounds
that is too many to go through by trial and error

these are some of the stock settings that are in my M-audio key rig
i found that some of these are very well suited for playing hymns and gospel songs

Half of the battle in playing the organ is in finding the right
Drawbar settings.  If you have percussion or an overdrive many of these settings can be tweaked even  further by utilizing these settings

Don’t overlook these settings if you don’t play very well or a lot of organ
Put these in a safe place you will be glad you did
I have been playing a little while and I found a few settings from a earlier post
And stuck with those the Melvin crispell setting and a few others

But contained in these settings are some real jewels

If you don’t like a particular setting I suggest trying it out on a few organs before you give up on it because different organs behave differently it all depends on the condition and how it is set up
There were a few settings that I did not include because the only difference was the over drive or the choirs settings and I didn’t feel it was necessary to repeat settings based on those criteria

Anyway have fun with these I am going to print these up and put them on my organ music stand
For quick and easy reference
Draw bar settings
These aren’t necessarily settings that I have been using for years
But I discovered them as settings on my M audio key rig

Thanks for the post. I have a old Hammond manual with drawbar settings if you want them.
Vision without action is just day dreaming. I miss practicing.
