Thanks for the post, drumalizicious! I've been patient waiting for this. Less than 2 weeks and it's on! The line-up is crazy. Can't wait for the local GC to get copies. DZ, since you're at Berklee, you may want to check and see if the GC on Comm Ave is reserving copies. Straight like that.

I just absolutely love Stewart Copeland's snare. When I get a metal snare I think Stewart's sig is going to be it.

its dark so you cant really see but the audio is fine

To me, his snare is very aggressive and makes it's presence known, yet it's not overbearing or annoying. His snare sound is one of my favorite for metal snares. It's not just all crack but it has a lot of body to it.

Ahhh... Thanks. Ever since the "wood" thread & dude-on-drums "guess that wood" thread, I've been trying to match descriptions with sound bytes so hearing your explanation & going back & listening to the snare is really helping me learn.
