yeah I'm getting the KC-550 this week....I debated between it and the 350 for a while...because the 550 is huge.  But it sounds so GOOOOOD....and it's only $100 more.

ddw4e,

I have  the Behringer KX-1200 and the Roland KC-550, and I have to say that the Roland KC-550 is awesome, there is no other amp like it. What boards do you run with your amp. Most churches I play at, I hardly have to turn the amp up, because it gets loud quick. It is an awesome amp, especially with the yamaha motif playing through it.

I just got the MO8 and that's running on the Behringer now with the Roland RD700sx. My pops have my Roland amp and usually I run a stereo setup with the both of them if I have both in my possession.

Hey Keys4Christ!
I've used the Roland, Behringer, and the Peavey Keyboard amps, and they all sound good to me.  As you noticed, the Roland seems to be the most popular, however, they cost a lot more than the others.  If you can get a used one in the price range that you're looking at, that would be excellent.

I played for many years on a used Peavey KB100 that sounded great to me.  Hope all the information that we've shared has helped you.     BroAllan

I am one of the few that has the KC-550 in the area but the most popular amp here is actually the Peavey KB300 and they are sweet amps but are HEAVY...try to lift that every time in a van through the middle seats to the space between the driver and passenger seats.  Not a great feeling at all...trust me I know! LOL!

ddw4e, My church has the exact amp and we put the amp in our church van the exact same way (between the driver and passenger seats).

I agree, especially if you only have 1 person putting it in.

I let  someone borrow my Peavey KB 100 amp and when he returned it, he had put wheels on it!   What a blessing!  Big difference between lugging it around, and rolling it around!!!   :) :) :)    BroAllan
