That's cool. If I can clear up one of my problems, I don't have a problem with sharing what I know. I have a web cam but it does not record a smooth, real time quality video! How can I achieve this? I've tried before and the vids come out choppy and delayed!

Man... I'm gonna have to figure out to set up my camcorder and start practicing more. I don't have the chops of some of you, but I'm working on it and wouldn't mind some constructive criticism and adding to the pot.

What type of Webcam do you have DW? What software are you using to capture.

I'm blessed to have a Canon Optura, its about 4 years old now, but nontheless its an excellent camera, with a firewire connection.

I used to use, a quickcam, and or a dazzle from my previous camcorder, so I have a tad bit of experience, but its been years.

It's a nice one with a built i mic. I've used Windows Movie Maker. I don't have any other programs on my laptop.

Kinda like a light bulb moment! BassAddict, God has been speaking to you! The medium to to each eachother via YouTube has been there for such a long time, but it has taken up until now for someone to state the obvious! I am just thinking to myself now "Hey...it's been there under my nose all this time...I wish I had thought of this!"...LOL!!

Is there a catpure rate setting on your quickcam? If so, try manipulating capture rate.. i will look at Movie maker this evening and see if I can come up with any more suggestions.

Great idea BassAddict!!! I'm a new bass player and have used this site to help me overcome some of the frustations of being a new bass player. Your idea will help me tremendously as I will be able to have someone break it down for me at a slow speed.

Looks like I figured out how to get my video camera working. It's sad that I've had this thing for over a year (Sony Handycam DCR-HC20) and I'm just now trying to connect it to my PC. The USB connection was crap (as I should have expected) super grainy picture quality. I had to go buy a firewire cable (cam has both USB and FW)... just tried it a few minutes ago and that did the trick.

I gotta couple of things on tape as well, not I just gotta get the time to capture the video to the PC, and upload.

The first one I wanna post is about adding octaves, to spice up the sound.
