Perhaps the greatest unkonw influence for me was a guitar player at my home church by the name of DeLano.  Dude definately has chops.

That home church wouldnt happen to be The Way of the Cross Church would it? Because I have a cousin who plays the guitar at my church and his name is Delano.

Anyway back on topic...My biggest influences would be my uncle Michael, my cousin Delano,Israel Houghton,Jonathan Dubose, BB king, Jimi Hendrix.

So it really is a small world after all!  I used to go to the Way of the Cross until about 7-years ago.

I've recently "discovered" Lincoln Brewster.  But as with many of you, there have been lots of guitarist who have influenced or inspried me in some way includng Vernon Reid and Greg Howe.

While I don't credit him as an influence per se', Steven Curtis Chapman is a better guitarist than I thoght.  I used to think he just played acoustic rhythm with occasional excursions into electric land, but I saw him live once and he can really play.  Rocked the house with a Telecater.
