The Church needs to take a stand.
« on: August 08, 2003, 04:31:28 PM »
I am very dissappointed on how they voted a Gay Man in as bishop to lead people to God.  It is a shame before God that they would do that what is wrong with the church.  God did not make man to lay with man he made man to be with woman.  We need to pray as people of God that the church would get back into its rightful place the bible says we are to be in the world but not of the world.  The church should not be a place for us to have opinions we should stand on the word of God.  We need to get our act together and the reason I say we because we are one body no matter what denomination you are we are all striving to make heaven our home.  I know this should have been on the prayer board but I decided to place it in the lounge.

Lets pray that the people of God would go back to the old way when the church did not try to be like the world and preach against stuff like this.  No one wants to preach on this anymore only a hand full of preachers want to preach about things like this anymore and if you are in a church and they are preaching it PRAISE THE LORD.  We need to stand up for righteousness and not just try to fill our churches.  Yes the homosexual is a person but that spirit needs to be rebuked.

I am sick of going to churches and see a bunch of Timid Men running around acting like women.  I refuse to go along with this type of stuff.  I know a lot of people that are gay they are my friends but I don't agree with what they do and I tell them and I know the bible says with love and kindness we are to draw them but there is a difference between clean and unclean.

Let us stand up for God.  When I was in the world I did worldly things but now that I have been delievered from the world I don't want to see the world in the church because when I was in the world I didn't want to see the church at the club.  They don't want the church in government so I don't want the government in the church if they are pushing for gay rights and if this affinds you GET SAVED because aint no fagots going to heaven we need to stop walking over sin and start preaching against sin.  Not just homosexuals but sinners period playing instruments in church it is all about the anointing of God that makes the difference.

If you are a musician and are not saved you need to get saved and I mean in a hurry because God is about to bring his wrath against the church so we as Saints need to pray and not just play talk is cheap it is all about Souls being Saved.  Don't let him catch you with your works undone.

I feel you on this one. I look at world in a whole entirely different aspect because of my daughter dying in my arms at the front door of the emergency room. I also disagrees with homosexuality because God disagrees with it.  After going through this trauma in my life, I realize that you never know the day or the hour when you are going to die. I had to check myself to make sure I am doing what God want me to do. I don't treat anyone differently because of what they choose in life. There are pastors being voted in who are liars,adultery,stealing money, etc.,  Would you like for me to keep going?  My advice to you is leave there but who say the next pastor you go to is not a homosexual.
By the way, how do you know this pastor is gay?

It's a Episcopalian bishop, (ooops!) it was all over the news and radio, said to be the first one...{t's the first one who OPENLY ADMITTED IT!}

It was an Episcopalian Bishop.  The Catholics would never stand for that (at least not in the "open").  Remember, Catholic priest don't even get married (the vow of chastity).  If they can't have a woman, they certainly aren't going to condone a man and a man.  They don't even believe in contraceptives (birth control) with a married couple.  I attended catholic school for 8 years so I know a little about the religion.

Yes, it was the Episcopalian religion who elected the Bishop in New Hampshire  :-) In his defense, they are a very well educated group of people (overall) and apparently something in his character and the works that he as done elevated him to this position.  Therefore, I do not feel the need to pray for him or for the church.

(one of many news items about this issue).

Please note: My input does not approve nor negate this issue.  FYI only. I am in no position to judge anyone for anything.  Judgement is God's job.  :-)

Peace be to the peeps!
